Neque veneror neque timeo

Adversaria nasce dal piacere di seguire un pensiero e vedere dove conduce.

Le domande attraversano la storia, la filosofia, la scienza e qualche altro ambito. A volte trovano una forma precisa; altre restano aperte.

Sono una persona curiosa, senza pretese da polimate. Non sono uno scrittore né un artista professionista. In quello che propongo vi sarà anche qualche ingenuità, che spero sarà giudicata senza troppa severità.

Nella creazione delle mie opere utilizzo consapevolmente l’intelligenza artificiale. Non la venero né la temo. Credo che abbia una grande forza nel liberare l’ingegno umano, ed è con questo spirito che cerco di servirmene.

Mi interessa la possibilità di dare forma a idee che, con i miei soli mezzi, avrei fatto fatica a realizzare. Di trasformare una storia in immagini, movimento, suono. Di sperimentare linguaggi diversi e scoprire, nel farlo, possibilità che non avevo previsto. Di collocare le mie divagazioni in ambito umanistico e scientifico nel corretto contesto degli studi e del dibattito a cui si riferiscono.

Vorrei che Adversaria fosse anche il racconto di questa ricerca. Un luogo in cui concedermi la libertà di tentare.

E forse anche dove lasciare una traccia del mio passaggio.

Adversaria grows out of the pleasure of following a thought and seeing where it leads.

The questions range across history, philosophy, science and a few other fields. Sometimes they take a definite shape; at other times, they remain open.

I am a curious person, with no pretensions to being a polymath. I am neither a professional writer nor a professional artist. There will also be some naivety in what I offer here, which I hope will not be judged too harshly.

In my creative work, I use artificial intelligence consciously. I neither worship it nor fear it. I believe it has the power to unleash human creativity, and it is in this spirit that I seek to use it.

I am interested in the possibility of giving shape to ideas that I would have struggled to realise on my own. Of turning a story into images, movement and sound. Of experimenting with different forms of expression and discovering, in the process, possibilities I had not foreseen. Of placing my wanderings through the humanities and sciences within the proper context of the research and debate to which they relate.

I would like Adversaria to tell the story of this exploration, too. A place where I can give myself the freedom to try.

And perhaps also somewhere to leave a trace of my passing.
